It was around 12:10 am that Howell Police Communications received a 9-1-1 call that multiple people were stabbed at Rodina Hall on Alexander Avenue.
When officers arrived at Rodina Hall, police said they were faced "with a chaotic scene."
Members of the security team spoke with responding officers and led them to three men who were suffering from significant injuries after being stabbed.
The security team told police that three suspects fled the scene, although as they investigated police believe there may only have been two suspects, both of whom were found by two Howell Police Officers along Route 9.
A 17 year old from Lakewood and a 44 year old resident of Patterson were arrested and detained.
They did search for a third suspect that included three Howell Police K9's and their drone "that is equipped with an infrared camera" but to no avail as a 3rd suspect wasn't found.
"It is also speculated there may not have been a third person involved."
Howell Police said that medical personnel including paramedics from RWJ/SB evaluated the victims on scene and then borough them to a local trauma center, one remains in care but police said that he is expected to survive.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene and Major Crimes units also responded to the stabbing and assisted Howell Police with "processing the scene and interviews that included language translation."
The stabbing investigation is ongoing and as of now, no one has been charged.
Anyone with information on the stabbing should contact Detective Bonner at 732-938-4575 extension 2647.
