The 25th Annual New Jersey Home Show, sponsored by PSE&G, brings together homeowners and many of the most knowledgeable and experienced remodeling and building experts under one roof. From March 7th through March 9th, 2014, leading industry professionals will be on hand during the course of the show offering the latest information and creative ideas pertaining to all aspects of the home. Consumers will find the newest design trends and home remodeling styles as well as the latest options available to improve your home’s energy efficiency.

HGTV’s Chip Wade, star of Elbow Room, will bring his remodeling expertise and craftsman carpentry skills to the Show, and will discuss adding curb appeal to any home on Saturday, March 8 at 11 AM and 3 PM, and Sunday, March 9 at 12 noon. He will be interviewed about his appearance on Preferred Company on March 5.

Exterior Renovations: The Real Curb Appeal The personable star of Elbow Room earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech and a certification in residential construction. TV audiences will recognize him from his appearances on Oprah and CNN as well as HGTV’s Designed to Sell, Curb Appeal: The Block, Showdown, and Design Star, in addition to Elbow Room.

Additional highlights of the Show include:

  • · PSE&G Solar Energy Program: The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities recently approved an extension enabling PSE&G to assist in the financing of solar generation at homes throughout PSE&G’s electric service territory. Qualified customers are able to repay their solar loan with Solar Renewable Energy Certificates.
  • ·  Metro Cooking Pavilion: Washington, DC’s #1 foodie event comes to New Jersey. The pavilion will feature dozens of exhibitors, along with cooking demonstrations by Chef Terry French, winner of Food Network’s Extreme Chef.
  • ·  Kidzsignments: New on Friday and Saturday is a shopping extravaganza for thousands of gently-used children’s items. Kidzsignments offers a unique opportunity for families to sell items their children no longer use and others a chance to purchase the same items at a fraction of regular retail prices.
