Helpful Hints – Keep Your Car Safe in the Heat

The first heat wave of summer is upon us - are you prepared?  Is your car prepared?  Take caution and be sure to check out some of these Helpful Hints:

• Your tires expand in the heat and can lead to a blowout; make sure your tires are not worn and are properly inflated
• Your battery can begin to leak in the summer - be sure to have it checked frequently during the hot summer month
• Your hoses will expand in the heat and can lead to some serious problems
• Is your car starting to overheat?  Put your heater and drive to your closest service station
