Racing a Cadillac and then eluding police brings a laundry list of charges against a Toms River man.

Lakehurst Police say Kyle J. Kolbasowski, 29, was allegedly driving recklessly on his black Harley Davdison motorcycle along Route 70 West Friday night against the Cadillac around 11:54 pm.

Police were able to pull over the Cadillac driver, Kolbasowski stopped but when saw police were coming, he took off at speeds over 100-mph.

A pursuit of the motorcycle was ended by police due to public safety concerns.

The Ocean County Prosecutors Office was contacted and a warrant was issued for Kolbasowski's arrest.

Toms River Police were then notified of the incident and on Saturday June 10, 2018, they responded to Kolbasowski's residence and arrested him without incident.

Kolbasowski was then brought to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing.

He was processed and charged with Eluding a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle and was issued ten motor vehicle summonses for Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Speeding, Failure to Maintain Lane, Failure to Signal, Improper Display of Plates, Unclear Plates, Creating the Risk of an Accident and Handle Bar Height on a Motorcycle.
