GoFundMe setup for Eatontown woman seriously injured in crash

The Eatontown woman who needed to be extricated from her vehicle following a single-car crash on Route 18 North in Marlboro Monday night has been identified as 21-year old Ceilie Reynolds.

A GoFundMe page identified Reynolds as the driver in the crash where Marlboro Police said she drifted off the road and struck the bridge abutment for Tennent Road in her 2011 Jeep Wrangler.

The vehicle turned over and came to rest on its side following the accident.

She was later extricated from her vehicle and flown to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital via medical helicopter with serious injuries identified as several cranial injuries as well as broken limbs by Charlotte Toomey and Jessica Hayes who set up the GoFundMe page.

"Ceilie Reynolds is a vivacious, loving, sweet, caring, considerate young woman who was seriously injured in a horrific car accident on the evening of September 9th. She drove off of an exit ramp on Route 18 and collided with an overpass wall. She sustained severe cranial injuries, as well as broken limbs. She was air lifted via helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. After their amazing team was able to stabilize her she was then again airlifted to Pennsylvania Presbyterian. While our entire family remains hopeful, she has a very long , costly road to recovery. It is too early to tell for sure but the out of pocket cost for the family looks like it will be upwards of $50,000. Please find it in your hearts to help this amazing young woman get the care she needs."
