We all love fireworks, especially on July 4th.

And, I don't mean the fireworks I hear every night in my neighborhood. My poor dogs. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

The 4th of July is just a week away.

It's the fireworks in the community that bring everyone together. There are several towns, on the list in Ocean County that will have 4th of July fireworks. Some towns will have them on July 3rd and some on July 4th.

Shawn and I have the pleasure every year of being in Beachwood for their annual Fireworks spectacular on the 4th of July. Once again, we will be in Beachwood at Beachwood Beach. We always have so much fun playing our games and giving away prizes.

Independence Day is a day to celebrate with family with a lot of BBQs, family reunions, parades, picnics, and of course fireworks. The Fourth of July has been a federal holiday since 1941.

This year July 4th falls on a Monday so it will be a long weekend for most of us to enjoy the day.

If you join us in Beachwood for the annual 4th of July fireworks, hot potato, and the Shawn & Sue's Scavenger Hunt.

I can not wait for this year's 4th of July Celebration. It's always such a great family time. We play games, give-away prizes, and of course, the "famous" Hot Potato game that gets so crazy but is always so much fun. We have to have two groups going at the same time with different age groups. Kids see me at stores and ask, "Are you going to play Hot-Potato this year"...it's a "huge" hit. I love it so much, "thank you".

And we can't forget about the "92.7 WOBM Shawn & Sue Super Scavenger Hunt". This is a crazy scavenger hunt right at Beachwood Beach. We hand out, literally hundreds of papers, with 10 different things to look for at the beach. One is always something with 92 and a 7 on a $5 bill or a quarter. Anything from a seashell with a crack to a red, white, and blue hair tie. It's always so much fun.
