Ex-Middletown country club worker accused of robbing members’ homes
House robberies that plagued members of Middletown's Beacon Hill Country Club since Christmas Eve 2016 are traced to a former employee from Long Branch.
Lisa Bostrom, 54, was charged February 5, along with Garry Doherty, 61, also of Long Branch, Middletown police said. They face a battery of counts led by burglary, conspiracy, theft and criminal mischief.
According to authorities, a country club member reported a man at his house, asking about a lost dog, at 8:45 PM Sunday night. About an hour later, they spotted the vehicle that had been described to them, with Bostrom and Doherty inside.

Both were released on summonses to await court hearings.
The probe is still in operation. Police advise anyone with information that could advance the investigaiton to reach Middletown Detective First Calss Sullivan, 732-615-2120.
Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
