Contractor arrested for failing to complete work in Long Beach

There's been a case of contractor fraud in Long Beach Township that led police to arrest a man who collected six thousand dollars and did very little work on the home in the Brant Beach section that he was supposed to fix.

James Feliciano of J. Feliciano Custom Carpentry LLC., was the involved contractor who entered into a contract to complete home improvements and deposited several checks totaling $5999.00 provided by the homeowner.

Minimal work was completed and James failed to complete the improvements.

On Wednesday James was placed into custody and was issued a summons for one count theft and two counts of home improvement contractor law.

He was processed and released with a future court date.
