Now that our first snow is under our belts, we can start expecting winter cold during this work week.

So, just how cold is it going to get? Well. let's start with the warm part of the forecast first. There is a possibility that we will reach 50 degrees for a daytime high tomorrow (Tuesday) and then the temperature could literally go downhill.

There's a chance that, as a cold front sweeps over the area, the daytime highs for Wednesday through Friday will not go above the mid 30's and the overnight lows will barely be 20 degrees.

Add to that the fact that we are expecting windy conditions, especially on Wednesday, and it's going to feel way colder than the projected temperature. So it looks like on the heels of our first snow, we should brace ourselves for the first real cold spell of the season.

Of course, winter hasn't even officially started here at the Jersey Shore, so we're all wondering if this is all a sign of things to come. But, our first measurable snow is pretty much right on schedule, and so is our first real cold spell, so don't read too much into this.
