A Brick woman is being charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose after stabbing two of her neighbors during a fight earlier this month.

Brick Police said they responded around 2:30 am on April 12 to Sawmill Road for a reported fight which was between three women including two of them being struck with a knife.

Police said that 38-year old Candace Haynes of Brick caused injury to both victims, one who sustained a stab wound to her neck, and the other sustained a laceration to her forearm.

The first victim with the neck wound was brought to Ocean Medical Center receiving treatment for her wound.

She was later transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for further treatment but the wound was not life threatening.

Brick police EMS treated the second victim for lacerations to her arm at the scene.
