The Brick Police Street Crimes Unit continue their mission of cleaning the streets of drugs and making the community a much safer place.

Three Brick Township residents found themselves in handcuffs following a motor vehicle stop on Lanes Mill Road.

Before the clock tolled 11:00 pm on March 16, Brick Police SCU Detectives and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force pulled the vehicle over and their ensuing investigation led to the discovery of drugs in the vehicle.

Apostolos Xinaropoulos, 34, Brick, who was driving the vehicle was charged with two counts of possession of heroin, and loitering to distribute or obtain a controlled dangerous substance.

Xinaropoulos was processed and later released on a summons.

Ronald Rule, 51, Brick, was charged with two counts of possession of heroin, intent to distribute heroin, distribution of heroin, tampering with evidence, loitering to distribute or obtain a CDS, failure to make lawful disposition of a CDS, and contempt of court and was then brought to the Ocean County Jail.

Tair Jordan, 30, Brick, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia, loitering to distribute or obtain a CDS, and two counts of contempt of court, and was then brought to the Ocean County Jail.

Eight days later, Brick Police SCU Detectives arrested Anthony Hamilton after he was pulled over on Beaverson Boulevard.

Hamilton was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a CDS, DWI, obstruction of justice, and multiple traffic violations.

After being brought to the Ocean County Jail on criminal warrants, he was found to be in possession of heroin and crack, which led to charges of possession of heroin and crack, intent to distribute, and failure to make lawful disposition of a CDS.

Then on March 30, Brick Police SCU Detectives pulled over a vehicle around 10:30 pm and made two arrests after finding the driver and passenger in possession of MDMA.

Beloved Russell, 20, Lakewood, who was driving that night, was charged with possession of MDMA, possession of a CDS in a motor vehicle, and various traffic violations.

Jose Mercado Jr., 21, Lakewood, was charged with possession of MDMA.

Both men were later released on a summons.
