Earlier today, Toms River's Mayor Kelaher along with Councilman Maurice 'Mo' Mill and Townsquare Media's Kevin Williams and Marianne Levy unveiled 'Bob Levy Way', a tribute to the late 92.7 WOBM radio personality who helped to shape the town that he lived and worked in. Councilwoman Maria Maruca, who helped to organize the dedication, was also on hand.

The event was organized by the Township of Toms River Mayor and Council, with the help of the Toms River Township Department of Public Works, who created and installed the new road sign. Bob Levy Way ceremoniously replaces Robbins Street, the very road that 92.7 WOBM is located.

The longtime Topic A host who left a lasting impression on Ocean County will now continue to be remembered by all who pass by the road named after him. As Kevin Williams jokingly pointed out, 'Bob's only regret would be that it wasn't a more popular road like Washington Street or Hooper Avenue'. Anyone that knew Bob immediately agreed.

The next time you find yourself in Downtown Toms River, perhaps while picking up a prize won on 92.7 WOBM, be sure to take a short walk to Bob Levy Way, and pay homage to the man that could not be ignored.
