After missing a season in 2020, the Beachwood summertime tradition is back at Mayo Park. A big thank you to the Beachwood Recreation Department. They always do an amazing job with this event.

In addition to the movie, there will be a concession stand with all of the movie essentials available. Plus, thanks to Magical Moments Entertainment, there will be free face painting before each movie. Jillian is the best, so please tip if you can.

Chuck's Ice Cream is also at most movies right up until showtime.

Oh, you also never know the special guests who will appear for select movies. Snow White and Stormstoopers have been known to entertain.

There are many aspects of Beachwood Movies in the Park that make it special, but one thing stands out. This program runs through the summer and even into October.

Start times will vary based on the time of year. Please check out Beachwood Recreation's Facebook page for movie updates as they are only shown when the weather cooperates.

What many people don't realize is that Beachwood just can't show a movie to the public for free. They have to pay a licensing fee for each and every movie they show which is about $300 a pop. Without sponsors the many generous sponsors,  it would be impossible to bring Movies in the Park to Beachwood.

If you wish to become a sponsor, please email them at recreation@BeachwoodUSA.com.

Now, let's check out the lineup.
