The Secret is Out! This Ocean County, NJ Beach Has More Sensational Sea Glass than Any Other

This Jersey Shore beach town is known for being peaceful and pristine. Now, it's becoming known as a destination for sea glass collectors from all around.

Bay Head, located in Ocean County is a quaint place. With a year-round population of just about 1,000, it's a town that is largely off the radar. Residents like it that way.

While the breathtaking beach is what draws many to Bay Head, there are some other attractions that welcome visitors to this Jersey Shore gem.

One landmark is the famous pink Grenville Hotel and Restaurant. The land for The Grenville was purchased in 1886 for $400. The hotel itself dates all the way back to 1890. The upscale location has a reputation for being haunted. In fact, The Grenville is known as being one of the most haunted hotels in the state. It is not at all uncommon to have guests report hearing abnormal sounds like children playing at night when there are no children around, for example.

Even though The Grenville is beautiful, it's old news. The new buzz around Bay Head is that it's apparently a sea glass seeker's dream location. Whether this has been a well-kept secret for a while, I don't know. But, the cat is out of the bag.

Finding a ton of sea glass on Jersey Shore beaches is not too common. I would consider this a haul!
