Right?

Well you are about to hear a lot of this sound in Asbury Park because an annual event is set to return in just a few weeks.

Grab your bloody shirts and don't leave your guts behind because coming up is The 13th Annual Asbury Park Zombie Walk!!!

AaaAAauuuAAuuuhhhhhhh!!!!!

I have seen people 10000% commit to their zombie identity and some of the costumes we've seen over the years have been extremely creative.

I have seen zombie mermaids, zombie skeletons, zombie mailmen, zombie beachgoers and even zombified versions of popular television and movie characters.

You get the idea.

There is usually some type of costume contest that is hosted at these events so here are some of our favorite's from years past if you are in need of ideas:

You can run...but you can't hide....

Okay...now for some of the important event information.

The 2021 Asbury Park Boardwalk Zombie Walk is set to return to the Asbury Park Boardwalk on Saturday, October 2nd.

Here is an UPDATE on the schedule for the day:

1:00 PM - Zombies will start to gather at the Asbury Park Boardwalk for the event. PLEASE arrive in costume. There will be no professional Zombie makeovers available this year.

While you are getting ready, keep a look out for Jimmy G who will be broadcasting live at the New Jersey Natural Gas Asbury Park Boardwalk Studio!

4:00 PM - The Zombie Walk will officially commence.

6:00 PM - The Zombie Walk will end at Johnny Macs and then you will be instructed to dance your bloody hind tails off.

If this is the first time you are hearing of this, here an accurate yet bloody description of a Jersey Shore Zombie Walk according to the event's website:

"A Zombie Walk is an organized gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes and then converge quickly in a public area for surprise and fun.  Participants arrive at a pre-determined time (often at a hidden location) and then emerge as a group to creep in a somewhat orderly fashion through shocked and amused crowds, towards a final destination (usually a cemetery, club, bar or after party).

Zombie Walks are always free events. With the exception of Zombie Pub Crawls, most walks are family-friendly, so participants of all ages are welcome to join in the fun."
