In late February of 2021, I shared the news that Little Mia's was adding another restaurant location to the Jersey Shore. On March 6th, they opened up their Silverton location, adding another great restaurant to the Shoppes at Hooper. Today, I entered and really appreciated the decor. It had a warm, welcoming feel. The Betty Boop was a fun touch too. Then, I gave it my first taste.
It took me a while to figure out what to eat. While they have a wide variety of foods on their menu including calzones, strombolis, chicken, pasta, subs, and desserts; Little Mia's is clearly a pizzeria first and foremost. Their logo has a slice of pie and their decorations do too.
I thought it'd be wise to order a slice of pie. I chose a deep dish with pepperoni. I loved the crust with the right texture and glaze. The pepperoni was savory and really hit the spot. The verdict, I'll be back! I quickly grabbed a brochure and some coupons. I love supporting local businesses. If you want to stop by, they're at 1922 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
