
6K Affected by Lakewood Power Outage
Jersey Central Power and Light is working to determine the cause of a power outage that affected over 6,000 customers in Lakewood Wednesday.

The power outage started at around 3:40 p.m. and a utility spokesman says it centered around a substation in the area.
Work crews were at the scene gradually restoring power beginning at 4:30 with 2,500 customers. The electricity was fully restored just before 6 pm.
