Custodian to Graduate from Columbia University [VIDEO]

Gac Filipaj is making headlines after earning a degree from Columbia University.  Filipaj's story is not typical however.  This 52 year old Yugoslavia native has been working toward this goal for the past 12 years while working as a custodian at the prestigious Ivy League school.

Earning free tuition through his employment, Filipaj first began his student career at the age of 40 to learn the English language.  12 years later, Gac is fluent in English and is graduating with honors, with plans to pursue a Masters Degree.  He also plans on keeping his custodial job with the university - unless something better comes along of course.  Filipaj will be graduating this Sunday, May 13th.
