NEW BRUNSWICK — Rutgers University police are investigating three robberies that all took place within a half-hour near the New Brunswick campus early Thursday morning.

In the first incident, four men approached several people affiliated with Rutgers at gunpoint on Hartwell Street near Hamilton Street at 1:04 a.m. and “removed items of value” from them before leaving in a silver SUV, according to Rutgers police.

Two more robberies in nine minutes

At 1:21 a.m., three males with a gun approached a male who is affiliated with Rutgers on Delafield Street near Courtland Street and punched him after they could not remove “an item of value.” They all got into a grey mini-van and left the area. The victim suffered a minor injury but refused medical attention, police said.

The third incident took place at 1:29 a.m. when two males took "several items of value" from a male who is not affiliated with Rutgers on Prospect Street near Somerset Street, according to Rutgers police. They ran away.

New Brunswick police and Rutgers police on Thursday morning did not respond to New Jersey 101.5's request for more information.

According to Thompson Island's Article on the differences between a craft brewery, microbrewery, brewpub & gastropub, it says:
 
"A brewpub is a hybrid between a restaurant and a brewery. It sells at least 25% of its beer on-site in combination with significant food services. At a brewpub, the beer is primarily brewed for sale inside the restaurant or bar. Where it's legally allowed, brewpubs may sell beer to go or distribute it to some offsite destinations."

New Jersey has tons of Brewpubs, some of which have been around for years and some that have just opened in the past year.
