Are you ready for the 2022 Asbury Park St. Patrick's Day Parade?!

It's back! The parade will kick off on Sunday, March 13th at 1 pm near Convention Hall. It will make its way south on Ocean Avenue and proceed to go west on Cookman Avenue. There will be a reviewing stand at Press Plaza and an after-parade celebration at the official parade headquarters, Johnny Macs...

The late John McGillion, who was an Asbury Park legend, entrepreneur, founder, and supporter of the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be this year's, Grand Marshal. Parade committee Vice President Sammy Boyd says, "In that John is gone, we would like to have done this when he was still alive. He was a financial and spiritual supporter of our parade from day one and we thought it might be appropriate to have this parade in memory of him."

In addition, parade committee president Garrett Giberson Jr. says, "Johnny Mac was a driving force to go ahead and create the first parade in Asbury Park - he thought it was a great idea to have one. He was a supporter of the parade before it even got off the ground." There are a few special fundraising events in Asbury Park leading up to the parade on March 13th, see below for more details...
