According to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina's office, the driver was a juvenile, the car was speeding, and it had been reported stolen.

The crash occurred at about 10:30 AM on the southbound side, near Riverton Road, not long after police tried to pull the car to the roadside. Instead, authorities said, the car accelerated.

The passenger died instantly, and the young driver is in Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured, police said.

Identities are being withheld until the passenger's next of kin are informed. The car driver's identity remains concealed in light of juvenile status.
