Why Every BlueClaws Home Run Helps Our Military & Veterans

You go to a Jersey Shore BlueClaws game at FirstEnergy Park and cheer when one of their players hits a home run.

You are certainly not alone in being excited to see the ball clear the wall because there are 16 local military-based charities that have a vested interest.  This is the 13^th season of Home Runs for Heroes, a partnership between the OceanFirst Foundation, Jersey Shore BlueClaws, and Townsquare Media’s 92.7 WOBM and Beach Radio 104.1FM.  The annual baseball-themed program awards grants to charities from central and southern New Jersey that serve members of the military and veterans.
