Trees Are Being Leveled On Rt. 9; Anything Exciting Coming to Bayville
I love seeing things being done in Bayville.
Trees were just leveled on Rt. 9 in Bayville down the road a bit from Blackbeard's.

There are a lot of things that are running through my mind - apartments, condos? New houses could be built there, but it's a busy place and usually cars lined up with traffic lights down each way from it.
Now, I realize the traffic lights going north is at the Santander Bank in Pine Beach and the other light going south is at the Wawa. It's not right near the leveling but close, that's where the back-up usually begins. Here's the area on Rt. 9 in Bayville:
So we ask the question now, what do we need in Bayville. I feel we really do need a great, family restaurant. We really need a great place for kids, something fun for the family. We really miss Blackbeard's.
The rides were for little kids but they had go-karts, an arcade, and miniature golf that was always fun for the whole family.
So many emails came in about Bayville needs and tops on the list was Wegman's, Trader Joe's, Home Depot, and Chick-fil-A. All of those would cause more traffic there but I'd agree to any of those in our town.
It seems like the new and improved Lamp Post Inn will be opening soon. With the new signs, it still has the old name with signs reading Lamp Post Inn, bistro and bar. That will be interesting. We now know what that is.
Anyone know what's happening with the trees being leveled on Rt. 9 in Bayville. Is anything being built there?
