TopCookie Contest To Help The Girl Scouts Of The Jersey Shore

Are you ready for a great competition to help the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore? Then get set for the 2nd Annual TopCookie Contest!

This competition is a great way to help support this amazing organization during the tough times the pandemic has created. There is a press conference today at Tim McLoone's Supper Club on the boardwalk in Asbury Park for the event.

Girl Scouts CEO Eileen Higgins and world-renowned Chef David Burke will be there, along with Lexi Terracciano, the top Girl Scout Cookie seller in 2020 for Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore to talk about the details.

We have some information for you about the contest and how you can help. The restaurants participating in this year's event are Cardinal in Asbury Park, Charlie’s of Bay Head, Marina Grille in Belmar and White Chapel Projects, Long Branch.
Chefs from these restaurants will have their dessert creations judged by a panel of celebrity judges who will choose the TopCookie winner, and you can help by purchasing votes for your favorite restaurant at $1 a vote with a minimum donation of $10. The top vote getter will claim the People’s Choice Award.

The celebrity judges are Amelia Caverly, baker and co-owner of Booskerdoo, James Costello, owner of Ohana Grill in Lavallette and the 2020 TopCookie champion, Jacki Sharpe, owner of Purple Glaze Donuts, Asbury Park and Kacie Duesterdick and Matthew Simonik, SeastheDish, food and restaurant influencers.

The event takes place on March 16th, and due to COVID, the event will be recorded and available to all ticket holders to view in the comfort of their home on March 21st.

Tickets for the competition are $40 and $85 which includes to-go dessert tastings and may be purchased along with sponsorship opportunities and votes for the People’s Choice Award on the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore website.
