Toms River Schools Look At Security Measures
Toms River is one of several schools around the state looking to bolster security in the wake of the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy.
Reports say at last night's Board Of Education meeting, Superintendent Frank Roselli wants a subcommittee to develop some ideas. The schools already have security officers on patrol and lockdown drills take place each month.
Lakewood schools put new policies into effect on Monday that required students and staff to wear ID badges at all times. Doors into the school are locked at all times and visitors will be escorted to their destination.
