If you are not familiar with the "Night in Venice" event, let's tell you a bit about the event. The annual "Night in Venice" boat parade makes its return to Ocean City. It's a fabulous night of boats and lights and decorations. This year's theme is "Mummers: Struttin' on the Bay".This year's boat parade is the 67th edition of the "Night in Venice".

This year the "Night in Venice" boat parade goes from Ocean City-Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue.

According to the Patch, "Free shuttle transportation will be available. Free seating will be available at street ends along the bay from Battersea Road to 16th Street and also at Tennessee Avenue. These will be first come, first serve. Grandstands will be set up at Battersea Rd., North St., 1st St., 6th St., 7th St., 11th St., 13th St., 15th St., 16th St., and Tennessee Avenue."

The boats always look fantastic in the parade and after the parade, there will be fireworks to give a fun finale to the event.  Maybe even take a walk on the beautiful Ocean City Boardwalk after the boat parade. We always enjoy a stroll on the Ocean City boards when we visit the shore town.

Enjoy Saturday's event and Happy Summer!
