With that, tough news coming out of the Wall Township/ Sea Girt area. After a handful of successful years, The Coal House on Rt. 35 will be closing its doors for good. The news unexpectedly broke after customers were trying to dine in at the location in Sea Girt Square. The doors were locked and there was a note that read:

To all our great customers - Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control we are closing. We would like to thank all of our great guests for the loyal support the past four years, and we will never forget you!

It's tough seeing this place go. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Most importantly, the owner, Lou, was a well-liked guy around the community. I wish him great luck in the future...
