I thought we would get started with the one that I ate ate this past weekend, and it does happen to be an awesome pizzeria. We're talking about the legendary Joey Tomato's on the Jenkinson's Boardwak in Point Pleasant Beach.

Joey Tomato's has been around a long time, and it's hard to not be a part of someone's great summer memories when you call the Point Pleasant Boardwalk your home. It certainly is a great location, but it's not just about that location. That pizza is excellent.

To me, the true sign of a good slice is how excited you get over a plain slice, and I'm not going to lie to you. I got pretty excited. The sauce is what makes this pizza. I am officially a huge fan.

And please don't miss the opportunity to indulge in the Sicilian Pie at Joey Tomato's either. It is out of this world. So, what do you think? Is Joey Tomato's the best boardwalk pie at the Jersey Shore?

I think you have to give serious consideration to this legendary pizzeria. And by the way, the people who work there are super nice. So, next time you're at the Point boards, make a stop at Joey Tomato's. You'll be glad you did.
