It started in 1993 and now is in its 31st year the annual Seaside Heights Polar Bear Plunge

Imagine a concert with a line-up like the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Nirvana, Paul Simon, Coldplay, Abba, John Mellencamp, and Carly Simon, wow that would be one music festival!

While we were broadcasting at the beach in Seaside Heights one Friday this summer I decided to take a stroll to the north end of the Seaside Heights Boardwalk to visit a fantastic project here at the Jersey Shore.

When you think of Summer here at the Jersey Shore you first picture our gorgeous beaches with the best beach sand in the Nation.

This is totally my opinion, but living in Ocean County, you might never have done this. Do it this summer. Don't just do it once, do it a couple of times this summer at the boardwalk.

Seaside Park, too. PIZZA! It's one of our favorites and everyone agrees we have the BEST pizza here in Ocean County and our boardwalk pizza is the best.
