A local politician and accomplice who illegally recorded conversations of elected rivals have avoided jail time after a summertime scandal.

The New Jersey Festival of Ballooning is excited to announce that The NJ Lottery has renewed its sponsorship for its 40th anniversary this summer.

For every Thanksgiving Everyday sandwich sold until the end of the month, QuickChek will donate a quarter to a hunger campaign.

"How irresponsible would it be to bring in 150,000 plus people who might be responsible for a spread?"

The festival will still include vendors, fireworks, 5K race and concerts and hot air balloons taking flight twice a day.

A new title sponsor (or sponsors) has until January 31 to sign up for the 2020 festival or the whole event will be canceled.
