Mount Olive school board members reached a six-figure deal with former Superintendent Robert Zywicki, over two years after his pay was suspended and he subsequently resigned.
The day started with warm temperatures that quickly dropped in North Jersey in time for the Friday morning commute but dropped quickly as a cold front moved from north to south.

"It defeats the purpose of us closing schools if parents are going to get together and have play dates with eight kids in a basement playing Play Station," a New Jersey superintendent said.
