Kean University is beginning a new research study into two key battles of the Revolutionary War that took place in New Jersey.

Cemeteries are not a fun subject, but they are one that involves memories, honor, and quite often history. Not to mention the love of the families left behind. In this case, it's a little of everything I just mentioned.

New Jersey has plenty of history with ties to several significant battles, speeches and moments but if you're looking to explore American History outside of the Garden State, then Virginia is a must vacation trip.

It is the oldest church in all of Monmouth County, New Jersey. It's the Old Tennent Church in Manalapan which has roots dating back to 1692.
