Just in time for what would have been Johnny Cash's 85th birthday this coming weekend, the CMT cable channel (221 on Verizon Fios) is saluting Memphis' legendary SUN RECORD label in a special airing tonight at 10. Sun's founder Sam Phillips obviously had an ear for talent, and from his tiny company emerged superstars such as Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich, and Elvis Presley.
