CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Police are offering a $500 reward after a life sized statue of Ronald McDonald was stolen from a bench at a local restaurant.

The statue was reportedly stolen in the overnight hours on April 26 into the 27th according to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III. Kearns said Ronald is made of fiberglass and weighs in at close to 250 pounds.

Kearns encouraged anyone with information about Ronald's whereabouts to call the Crime Stoppers at 1-800-321-0010 or go to the Crime Stoppers website. Information can also be sent by text message to 274637 with HCTIPS in the message or calling the Major Crimes Unit of the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office at 908-788-1129.
