Nobody needs to tell anybody just how hot it was this weekend, but we're going to tell you just how hot it was this weekend.

Sometimes you don't actually believe just how hot it was until you are forced to digest some of the data, and we're going to share with you the daytime highs this weekend for several Monmouth and  Ocean County towns.

These high temperatures are listed at the NJ Climate & Weather Network for Sunday, July 21.

Point Pleasant...101

Sea Girt...101

Howell...99

Toms River...99

Wall...98

Holmdel...97

Remember, those are daytime high temperatures, and are not heat index or 'feels like' temperatures. If you are ready for some good news, and who isn't, our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says the worst is behind us.

He says after today's high of 90, the rest of the week will feature daytime highs in the mid 70's to low 80's. Thank you for that, Dan. But don't forget that today's heat index will throw one final insult, making it feel like 100 degrees at times.
