Smell that? Yup it’s that local bakery and the fresh-baked bread Possibly one of the greatest smells in the world. Do you think a men’s cologne called “fresh baked” would sell? Anyway I digress, fresh-baked bread is awesome! Not only the smell, but the taste!
Since we are talking bread, what is your favorite? Rye, Marble, French, Italian, Croissant , Lavash, Sourdough, wheat, white, etc. So many varieties and all so very good. I’ll be honest, bread is one of my favorites. I can easily make a meal with just bread and lil butter and jam. Toasted rye with butter and coffee! Now that’s a “continental” breakfast :)

Of course besides our great local bakeries, the smell at home of freshly baked bread is awesome. For some reason I associate baking bread at home with Fall or Winter, guess it's the warmth of the oven and the weather.....but I think I’d enjoy freshly baked bread at home in the summer as well.
