There are many and I mean many negatives associated with social media.  One of them is unwanted comments at a time of tragedy from those not even involved in any way.  The old line of “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all” is a pretty good rule to live by but many just love to throw gas on the fire.  Shame on you!

Yesterday was the sixth anniversary of the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. We sure could use a win like that to unite our country again.

I don’t know if this means anything but the crowd of 25,566 at last night’s Yankees-Blue Jays game in the Bronx was the smallest for a Yankee home game since 2004.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence or bad luck but the New York Mets sure do seem to have the market cornered when it comes to screwing up medical issues.

What the world needs less of is Ryan Seacrest.  Yesterday he was introduced as Kelly Ripa’s new co-host on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.”  I don’t expect I will ever watch it.

This season of “Billions” on Showtime has been very good but Sunday’s episode was off the charts.  The battle between the characters played with Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti has reached new levels and I can’t wait for the next episode which is the last for season two.  The good news is that “Billions” has already been renewed for a third season.  I suggest you binge watch!

Sorry I could not make it to last night’s Met Gala. That’s not the New York Mets but the charity ball held at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art each year. Tickets started at $30,000. I wonder if there was an open bar and all you can eat shrimp.
