We've been following Manasquan's own Cole Hallman during his American Idol journey and it's so exciting to see what is next for him.  Cole represented Jersey (and himself) so well on the show!  Now that he's back home in Jersey, we asked what was next.

You gotta love a full circle moment!  Cole used to be a barback at The Stone Pony, slinging drinks to all of us thirsty music fans and now he'll be taking the main stage as a performer.  First, he'll take the stage with a group of friends/bandmates and will feature his original music from 7:30-8:15.  Then Cole will join the headliner, Dogs in a Pile for a few songs.

When I asked him about the show Cole said,

I'm very honored to play at such a legendary venue, especially one I spent a lot of time in, I was a barback there for a summer, now we're performing!

Cole will also perform a few songs with the headlining act, Dogs in a Pile.

The guys in Dogs in a Pile are great guys and amazing musicians.  It feels really special to all be young, local musicians working together to sell tickets at the Stone Pony, just like Bruce Springsteen did!

Cole joined us on The Jersey Shore Morning Show to tell us about the big show and some behind-the-scenes American Idol moments. You can listen to that here:

So get ready for jazz fusion, funk, and rock & roll! Dogs in a Pile are now on their first National Tour hitting the eastcoast.  The lead guitar player, Jimmy Law is from Point, the bassist Sam Lucid, reps Sea Girt, drummer Joey Babick is from Lacey and guitarist Brian Murray and keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan are from Long Island.  They all met at Berklee College Of Music and Dogs in a Pile was born. They all still live around the Jersey Shore so if you see them on the boardwalk give them some love!

If you're ready to jam with The Dogs and American Idol’s Cole Hallman this Saturday, make sure to buy your tickets!  Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

The doors open at 7 pm and the concert goes on until midnight.  Break a leg!
