Section Of Atlantic City Boardwalk Collapses
A section of the Atlantic City Boardwalk has collapsed near Gramercy Place.

A passerby noticed the collapse around 5:00 Thursday afternoon according to WCAU TV and called police. Two men were taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The collapsed section has been cordoned off and an investigation surrounds the area. “Apparently one of the rocks let go of a jetty and hit one of the concrete pillars and broke it apart doing a wave action up there,” Tom Foley, Director of Atlantic City Emergency Management tells WMGM TV.
The Press of Atlantic City reports the section as being along the Absecon Inlet.
