Runyan Seeks Vets Job Fair For New Jersey
After visiting a job fair for former military enlistees in Washington DC, Congressman Jon Runyan (R) fires off a request to Veterans’ Affairs Secretary Eric Shineski for a similar one in south Jersey.

Runyan says that the event was billed as Mid-Atlantic Job Fair, but New Jersey wasn’t involved. And out of work vets in New Jersey can’t be expected to get to Washington.
Runyan says that more than 30 percent of America’s vets age 18 to 24…many who gave up higher education to serve…were still looking for jobs as of last October…an 18 percent increase in a year.
