We all know that the sports world has produced some unbelievable contracts with some eye-popping numbers. but did you know the most eye-popping contract of all belongs to a New Jersey guy?

That's right, when it comes to the most lucrative contract in sports, you can forget Alex Rodriguez (ranked #6) and current Yankees Giancarlo Stanton (#4). The big bucks belong to baseball star and Vineland native Mike Trout.

Trout's latest contract is for a cool $426.5 million over 12 years. His average annual salary is $35.5 million, or about $3 million a month, according to the list published by For The Win.

And for the record, that is the biggest contract in the history of sports. The biggest contract signed every in the history of any sport. The largest amount of money ever paid to an athlete...ever. I think I've made my point.

Mike Trout is quite possibly the best player in a generation and maybe even beyond that. New Jersey couldn't be prouder. i just wish he played for one of our teams or at least on the east coast. Hey Angels, you're a lucky team!
