One of our favorite stores to visit on occasion is Whole Foods Market, a fantastic store that deals in fresh and organic healthy alternatives. If you have never shopped at Whole Foods you should check it out. What we like are the products you don't find in average supermarkets, that you do find at Whole Foods. They also have great fresh produce and even healthy pre-prepared dishes you can buy for your family.

With that said, if you look at the map there is only one Whole Foods Market at the Jersey Shore in Wall Township. As far as Ocean County we have none, so we want to think "where would be the best location" for a Whole Foods Market in Ocean County?

I have come up with three towns I think would be good for a Whole Foods Market in Ocean County:

  • Brick Township
  • Toms River
  • Manahawkin

With the towns I selected, which one would YOU pick to place a Whole Foods Market? Brick already has a Trader Joe's so would you be more inclined to go with Toms River or Manahawkin? or do you think having both Whole Foods Market and Trader Joe's in the same area be a better idea? Other towns have both....

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
