Popular Chicken Chain Might Open New Restaurant In Ocean County, NJ
If I asked you: Where should I get to get the best fried chicken, where would you send me?
I would like it to be juicy and tender on the inside with a nice crunchy outside, please.
Chick-fil-A?
Wrong.
KFC?
Nope, you're wrong again. Man, I thought you'd be better at this.
Try and remember their orange packaging.
I have some juicy news for Ocean County residents that also comes with a bit of a crunch.
According to APP.com, Popeye's is hoping to open a new location on Route 88 and Jack Martin Boulevard in Brick.
Wait, you know Popeye's right?
They are a fast food chain known for their fried chicken, crispy chicken sandwiches and biscuits. Your car will 1000% be filled with crumbs with it will all be worth it.
My mom and I were starving and had to stop for food. We stopped at a Popeye's and demolished a box of fried chicken, fries and biscuits.
Her car was a disaster. But like I said, it's worth it.
Beautiful, isn't it?
Other popular menu items include French fries, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, premium lemonades and chocolate beignets.
According to APP.com, a proposal is being made to the Brick Board of Adjustment on October 19th at 7:00 PM at 401 Chambers Bridge Road.
Oh, and get this! We already know that the restaurant will have a drive thru if given the green light.
A drive thru makes all the difference when you have 20 minutes to run out of the office, grab food and make it back in time for your meeting.
Good luck Popeye's. We're rooting for you!
Fun fact that I just learned via Popeye's Instagram:
Did you know that 40% of this year's Best Rap Songs mention Popeye's?
Here are some other chicken-related suggestions to try while we wait on the board's decision:
