One of my favorite summertime traditions didn't happen last year due to you know what. I was excited to see that a popular Jersey Shore town is saying "showtime."

Pier Village in Long Branch will be doing their Summer Movie Series this year.

A free flick will be shown at their outdoor cinema at Festival Plaza every Wednesday night in July and August.

There are two ways to watch these movies. Bring your favorite chair and blanket and relax on the grassy plaza, or make a reservation at one of the many restaurants in the area and enjoy a meal and a show.

Listen to Matt Ryan weekday afternoons on 94.3 The Point and download our free 94.3 The Point app

All CDC recommended safety and social distancing guidelines will be in place for COVID-19 in July and August and must be followed.

Movies begin at dusk, weather permitting. Check out this killer lineup!
