Philly’s BOBBY RYDELL Is 75 Today

One of the most talented of the teen idols to hail from Philadelphia, BOBBY RYDELL is 75 today. Along with a much-acclaimed role in the film version of Bye Bye Birdie, Rydell racked up a string of Top Ten hits including "Wild One," "We Got Love," "Forget Him," "The Cha Cha Cha" and "Volare." He'll be at the Ocean County Library in Toms River on Sunday, May 7, discussing his life and times as they're depicted in his autobiography, Teen Idol On The Rocks: A Tale Of Second Chances. Copies will be available for purchase, and he'll sign them after the questions and answers are done.
