Sad baseball news today. Retired Hall of Fame-caliber pitcher ROY HALLADAY has died in a private plane crash today in the Gulf of Mexico at the age of 40. Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall, Halladay was nicknamed Doc and enjoyed 15 years in the majors between the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies. In 2010, he pitched two no-hitters, one of which was only baseball's 20th perfect game. Highlights of the perfect game can be seen below.
