Pedestrian Injured In Lakewood

A pedestrian in Lakewood is seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle.

It happened last night at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Pearl Street shortly after 6 p.m according to the LakewoodScoop.com, which reports the male walked into oncoming traffic.

The victim was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.

The incident is under investigation.
