Pumpkin pie is so special for me. It's not just a delicious dessert, it has so much meaning, at least in my family. It was my Dad's all-time favorite. It was a tradition that he always got the first slice and he put the whipped cream on everybody's pie for the holidays. Since Dad passed three years ago, we keep the tradition going with my Mom.
