This weekend it's daylight saving time and with that, we get longer days as we spring ahead one hour on Saturday (March 9th) before you go to bed. Many folks love this time of year when we get daylight savings and longer days.

The issue of daylight saving time has become a bigger issue in 19 states here in the U.S. as they look at possibly keeping daylight saving time in effect year-round. This way they have longer days with a later sunset throughout the year.

According to USA Today, the states where the issue of daylight saving time and whether to keep it year-round are: Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Idaho, Louisiana, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Arkansas, Delaware, Maine, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, Florida, and California.

New Jersey is NOT on the list, but I think we could be. Days get shorter in fall and winter anyway, so why not make it a little less dark by keeping daylight saving time in effect year-round here in the Garden State? I would be in favor of this and here is what YOU had to say....
