Ocean/Mercer County Prosecutors seize more than 15-hundred doses of heroin
The Ocean County Prosecutors Office Narcotics Strike Force teams up with Mercer County Prosecutors to trace the dealers of heroin and fentanyl in both counties, announced Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer and Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, along with members of the Mercer County Special Investigations Unit, Mercer County Tactical Response Team, and Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, executed a Search Warrant at an address in Cranbury on Tuesday and found more than 1,500 individual dosage units of Heroin/Fentanyl and a large quantity of MDMA/Ecstasy pills.
David Jones, 44, of Cranbury and Allie Dickerson, 30, of Lakewood are now both in Ocean County to face a laundry list of charges following their arrests.
Jones was charged with one Count of Distribution Over One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin/Fentanyl in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); one Count of conspiracy to Distribute Over One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin/Fentanyl in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:5-2a(1) and N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); one Count of Possession With Intent to Distribute Less than One-Half Ounce of Heroin/Fentanyl in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); two Counts of Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); one Count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA/Ecstasy in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); and one Count of Possession of MDMA/Ecstasy in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1).
Jones is lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
Dickerson was charged with one Count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Less than One Half Ounce of Heroin/Fentanyl in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); one Count of Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); one Count of Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA/Ecstasy in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); and Possession of MDMA/Ecstasy in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1).
Dickerson was released from jail pending a future court date.
